Founded in 1976 as the Saskatchewan Indian Community College, the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) offers training and education programs to First Nation’s adults in Saskatchewan. SIIT is mandated to serve First Nation's adults by providing vocational and technical employment programming, as well as educational services for continued career growth.



SIIT offers certificate and diploma programs in the trades and industrial areas, business, information technology, health and community studies, and adult basic education. Programming is delivered through three principal campuses in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert.

Incoming Students

Orientation sessions are offered for new, returning, and transfer students at SIIT. The programs take place at the students' respective campuses.

Special Services

Our Community Resource Worker will share their community connections with the learner in order to assist in this transition. The Community Resource Worker's are located on the main floor of each campus and can provide community-based support to learners. If a learner is relocating into an urban area where they may need assistance in any of the following: Seeking housing, Child care, Transportation around the city, or Community Events.While learners are registered at SIIT, several support personnel are available to make their experience positive and successful. The three campuses have Elder support that provides comfort, support and advice in learners' lives while at SIIT.
